First Church of Pentecost strives to be active in the great commission given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ and strives to do so with love, mercy & compassion. (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19)
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and it’s truths are profitable and timeless for all people. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that there is only one Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4) who is the Creator of heaven and earth and all living things. He has manifested Himself to us as the Father (Creation), the Son (Saviour) and the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
We believe Salvation is a complete gift from God given freely to all men by grace through faith in Him (John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:8)
We believe God’s definition for a complete salvation experience is found in Peter’s response to the question posed in Acts 2:37, “What shall we do?” (Acts 2:38)
We believe the Church is the bride of Christ and that He will return in an unknown day & hour to take His Church to their eternal reward in heaven. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
